It was obvious as soon as we saw his stash of weapons in Season 1 that we had a school shooting storyline in the making and that plot had been ticking away in the background all season while the court case unfolded.Īs Tyler suffered each further humiliation and became increasingly ostracised, I could tell where things were headed. But the second season’s finale left me unsettled.Īs the final episode played out, I really wasn’t sure which way 13 Reasons Why was going to take Tyler’s (Devin Druid) storyline. The conclusion of the Netflix drama’s first season provided some closure, with Hannah Baker’s (Katherine Langford) story told in full – or, at least, her version of it. Then I realised the ending is as good a place as any. When I first sat down to write about Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why, I didn’t even know where to begin.
